A call out to any female carpenter or wood worker who would like to run a “She Shed” at West winds Community Shed at Woodbridge. We are looking for a woman who is willing to volunteer for 4 hours one day a week to run a women’s day at the shed.
Our shed has new machines as well as plenty of hand tools for people to learn woodworking skills and create their own projects.
Women are currently pushing for “girls only” shed days at other Sheds, and Neighbourhood Houses have several sheds operating combined days.
We currently have a Friday combined shed day at West Winds and are looking to expand this to two or more days.
